Boy Or Girl? It Doesn't Matter
Not all people are able to find out the sex of their baby before baby arrives. Sometimes the baby hides! There are other people that do not want to know whether they will have a boy or a girl. The questions pour in though, from people either curious or wanting to buy a gift, about what they are having.
By selecting gender neutral items for your baby you will actually get a lot more use out of them. This is especially true if you are planning on more than one baby. The convertible crib natural is just more sensible than the one with pretty pink bows on it. The frilly stuff is great for things that can be changed quickly and inexpensively, like curtains.
Designer baby bedding can be worth every penny you spend on it. These are generally very high quality and will last a long time. If you buy it in pink for your baby girl, and then a couple of years later have a boy, then you are unable to get the full mileage out of your investment. A light brown or green would have gone farther.
It is easy to go overboard on the pink or blue for a new baby. While the shopping can be fun, the end result should never be a room that looks like it is being lit with a blue light. A room that looks like a bottle of allergy medication exploded is also not desirable. The baby's room should not be nauseating.
The convertible crib is easily accented with other things. You can always tack on some bows, or attach some buttons to make it cuter. The biggest difference is that in the end, these things can be easily changed or eliminated. It is not so easy when the whole crib is gender specific.
Think of the next baby. You spend a small fortune buying car seats, highchairs, cribs, bedding, and other items. The last thing that you want to do is have to buy it all again because you first had a boy, then a girl. The car seat in dark blue with racing stripes does not quite seem adequate. The purple stroller with teddy bears does not quite feel right when you put a little boy in it. By staying neutral you can save a lot of money.
Twins can even serve to further the point even more. While they share many items, it will in the future head off many arguments about what belongs to whom. By being practical when doing your shopping or putting together your gift registry you will have less to do when preparing for the next baby.
is a 1963 ford F100 "High Boy" with a 223 inline 6 rare?
the word rare is abused all the time when it used in a car discussion. Rare is when a model is rarely IF ever up for sale AND people want them bad..
Your 63 Ford is NOT rare in the true definition of rare.
You can say there not to many left but do people really want them bad enough where if you restored it would you make a profit that makes the time and money you put in pay off enough. I think no.
This is rare
