Farmville Cash and Farmville Coins
Farmville runs on two different types of money: Coins and Farm Cash. Farm Cash is a rare virtual currency. The Farmer can acquire exclusive Farmville items if they have this type of money. A special item called the Flying Saucer was only purchasable with Farm Cash during the Alien Invasion in Farmville. Other rare items or buildings are costly and require you to purchase more or save up your Farm Cash.
Additional Farm Coins and Farm Cash can be bought with actual cash using a credit card or Paypal. Farmville accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. I advise that you use your real money on Farm Cash instead of using it on Coins. Coins are relatively easy to collect than Farm Cash.
Coins
You will deal with Farm coins more often because it is the common currency used in Farmville. You need Farm Coins when you plow, plant and purchase some objects for your farm. Your harvests are all in coins; when you harvest milk from a cow, you get coins directly into your account balance at the top left of your screen. The same goes for plant crops; whenever you harvest a banana tree, you don't receive bananas, you receive coins. Observe your account balance closely. This will help you in deciding the kinds of crops to grow. Sometimes you have to choose between planting a whole field of a cheap crop or planting only a few squares of ahigh-priced one. Always keep a calculator handy and find out which particular crop is giving you the mostearnings.
Farm Cash
$1 is added to your account everyday. I strongly recommend that you keep your [Farm cash] and spend your coins instead. Seriously, do not spend your Farm Cash without thinking carefully. Items such as rare farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles, special buildings can only be purchased using Farm Cash. Use it if you are actually sure that you need an item!!! Only use it for unique objects during events that will help obtain more unusual items. Unique animals like the Baby Turkey introduced during the Thanksgiving (although there is a Wild Turkey also available during this event as a Lost Animal) and decorations only available during a certain event are examples of nice purchases. Purchasing unique objects will help you show your own personality and style.
If ever you will purchase vehicles such as a tractor or seeder, be prepared to handle the price of fuel. A vehicle needs to be gassed up for it to function, or else it will be just an ornament which takes up space. You need to think about spending real cash on Farm Cash if you are building a large farm with several vehicles.
There are three basic classifications of crops in Farmville: Animals, Trees, and Regular Crops which you must plant. For more information concerning Trees subject read Farmville Trees.

The Farm House Restaurant in Newark, CA had a minestrone soup, does anyone know the recipe?
It was many years ago that they went out of business but the soup was sooooo good that people would have passed the recipe around..
So I thought I would toss the question out.
this should be it. it come from a friend whos daughter used to work there
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/2 pound dried white beans -- picked over and
-- rinsed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 pound pancetta -- or sliced lean
-- bacon, chopped
1/3 cup olive oil
1 onion -- chopped
1 large carrot -- cut into 1/2-inch
-- dice
1 rib celery -- cut into 1/2-inch
-- dice
3 garlic cloves -- chopped fine
2 zucchini -- scrubbed and cut
-- into 1/2-inch dice
1/4 pound green beans -- trimmed and cut
-- into 1/2-inch
-- pieces
1/2 pound boiling potatoes
4 cups shredded green cabbage
1/2 pound kale -- rinsed drained
-- leaves chopped
1 can tomatoes -- chopped coarse and
-- drained well
-- (28-ounce)
4 1/2 cups chicken broth
freshly grated Parmesan, garlic bruschetta, and dry-cured sausages as accompani
ments
In a large bowl let the white beans soak in enough water to cover them by 2 inc
hes overnight or quick-soak them. Drain the white beans, in a saucepan combine
them with enough water to cover them by 2 inches, and simmer them, uncovered,
adding more water if necessary to keep them barely covered, for 45 minutes to 1
hour, or until they are tender. Add the salt and simmer the white beans for 5
minutes more. Remove the pan from the heat and let the white beans stand, unc
overed.
In a heavy kettle cook the pancetta in the oil over moderate heat, stirring, un
til it is crisp and pale golden, add the onion, and cook the mixture, stirring,
until the onion is softened. Add the carrots, the celery, and the garlic and
cook the mixture, stirring, for 4 minutes. Add the zucchini, the green beans,
and the potatoes, peeled and cut into 3/4-inch dice, and cook the mixture, stir
ring, for 4 minutes. Add the cabbage and the kale and cook the mixture, stirri
ng, until the cabbage is wilted. Add the tomatoes and the broth and simmer the
soup, covered, for 1 hour.
Drain the white beans, reserving the liquid, in a blender or food processor pur
ee half of them with 1 cup of the reserved liquid, and stir the puree and the r
emaining white beans into the soup. Simmer the soup, uncovered, for 15 minutes
, thin it if desired with some of the remaining reserve liquid, and season it w
ith salt and pepper. The soup may be made 3 days in advance and kept covered a
nd chilled. Reheat the soup, thinning it with water as desired. Serve the sou
p with the Parmesan, the bruschetta, and the sausages.
