How To Understand Painting As A Fine Art
A local female resident of Bridgewater has more than once depicted the beauty of Shenandoah Valley landscape on canvas. She has been an artist for about 36 years and her reason for carrying easel and oils is not just to paint nature. She also uses pictures cut out from the daily newspapers in order to paint. More expert paintings information is located at photo to canvas painting.
She explains that the black and white colors from the clippings are a way for her to paint in an old fashioned way. Then she adds that cutting out photos of animals and objects give her the chance to paint better and larger scenic paintings. She holds up a used newspaper clipping of two millstones and implies that she used it to paint the huge mural on her family room. The rustic millhouse near the riverbank in the photo blends perfectly well with the grey mill wheels.
She implies that the big mural on the wall is a depiction of what happens when she uses photos to put detail to weather board paintings, wood land animals, and other things. She said that she only put water. Water is not hard to paint, it goes fast.
Her plans are to start working on another painting, this time with a snow scene. The snow painting will be quick and easy. She only has two smaller scenes besides the mural that are hung around her home. Apparently, the rest of her countless paintings are either sold or given away. Many a times her paintings are sold to customers of a furniture store in Maryland. She also paints at the request of friends and neighbors. It's sometimes hard to keep track of all orders due to their sheer numbers. But she gets even more when it's the Christmas season.
This artist first picked up her brushes when she was just 13, with the help of a nice old lady in a Rockingham County, Green mount section neighborhood. She would sit an entire afternoon for a lesson with the old lady, which is only as cheap as 25 cents. She displayed the first pallet that her mother made her from a lightweight board, using a drill and paring knife. The old pallet was stained with oil paints, and a note about how it was made has been decoupage on it.
They have placed item from their church, which has been torn down six years ago, in a family room inside their home. One entire face of the room was a glass wall, which allows you to see the nearby river as the sun shine filters through the glass. They did it wanting to bring the outside in the house, the nature and the woods.
As she was painting the mural, she wanted something fit inside the room. She even sand papered the painting off when she was three quarters finished because the children didn't like tithe painting shows fall's bright foliage in rusts, reds and gold's and perfectly fits the rustic family room. The artist chose to keep the place as it is, and not add anymore pictures which will be most likely ignored anyway; she chose to direct the people's attention on the mural, which tells how much she loves painting.
